ABOUT CONNIE SUTTER

I had always enjoyed doing some form of art during my school days, even into college.  While raising my children, I dabbled in photography, and sumi-e brush painting.   It has been in the last seven years, though, that have I found my true interests to settle in on watercolor painting and then, Chinese Calligraphy and silk painting.  I love color!  Many of my paintings show moods and will have an Asian effect.
 
Professionally, I am a Reading Specialist at an elementary school and in addition to painting, my other past-time is singing in three choruses.  Painting allows me to enter another world, where I can dream, relax, and be free.  After I retire, I will be able to spend more time doing that!
