SILK PAINTINGS

Silk painting is my newest art interest. I have been taking classes from Traci de Castro, a wonderfully talented silk painter. I have only begun to explore the many avenues of expression that silk allows. On the scarves, I use a free stroke, while on other pieces I use a gutta resist to draw the design and then paint.
